Who We Are

The Resilience Resource equips and supports leaders, organizations, and individuals to navigate challenge and change without losing sight of health and humanity. It promotes holistic resilience, integrating care for the whole person, so that those working to meet the needs of a fractured world can sustain their impact while safeguarding their own well-being.

Core Distinctives

  1. Unwavering Commitment to Holistic Being
The Resilience Resource is highly committed to seeing people differently. We unabashedly refuse to disconnect and dissect a person’s experience into separate (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational) components. We see needs and solutions, not in how they help a person in one area, but how they all work together for a single purpose – a thriving life. This is reflected in every aspect of our existence as an organization, from the way we interact with donors, to the way we consult with organizations, to the way we coach clients.
  2. Consultation
The Resilience Resource assesses existing care policies and procedures with a whole-person perspective, recognizing the interconnection between emotional, mental, physical, and relational needs. It identifies strengths and gaps, then provides research-based recommendations to develop or strengthen systems that support the full spectrum of personnel well-being.
  3. Context-Specific Training
The Resilience Resource designs and delivers training tailored to an organization’s culture and operational context, equipping individuals and teams with practical tools for self-care and mutual care that address body, mind, and relationships. This approach ensures readiness to maintain health and connection before, during, and after crises.
  4. Team Development
The Resilience Resource works with teams to recognize and strengthen the unique contributions of each member, fostering shared responsibility for holistic care. This includes supporting one another’s emotional, mental, physical, and relational health, making resilience a collective effort.
  5. Individual Support
The Resilience Resource provides individualized support that considers the whole person—addressing immediate needs while also recognizing broader patterns that affect well-being. This process involves affirming strengths, identifying areas for growth, and offering care strategies suited to each individual’s cultural and situational context.
  6. Crisis Response
The Resilience Resource responds to disasters and traumatic events with immediate support that attends to emotional, psychological, and practical needs, while also laying the foundation for long-term recovery and whole-person health. Its approach integrates urgent stabilization with sustainable care practices.
